Diammonium phosphate (DAP)

Diammonium phosphate (DAP) is a white granular fertilizer that is highly soluble in water. It contains 18% nitrogen and 46% phosphorus, and has a high fertilizer efficiency and quick effect. It is mainly used in agriculture as base fertilizer or top dressing to promote crop growth and is suitable for various crops such as wheat, corn and rice. In addition, it can also be used in industry, such as in the production of flame retardants or feed additives. When in use, it is necessary to avoid evaporation loss in alkaline soil. When storing, it should be protected from moisture and high temperature to prevent caking and deterioration.

Properties: White granulated crystals.Relative density:1.803(19°C).Melting Point: 190°C. .It is easy to soluble in water,soluble in alcohol ,do not soluble. It is rather stable in the air, a small part will decompostion when heated to 100°C.When the temperature is higher than the melting point ,water generate partial mixture of ammonium metaphosphate (1% solution at PH = 7.8-8.2).
