Superphosphate
Superphosphate is a water-soluble phosphate fertilizer, produced by the reaction of phosphate rock powder with sulfuric acid. It mainly contains calcium monophosphate, effective P2O5 (14%-20%), and calcium sulfate (CaSO4). It is prone to moisture absorption and caking, weakly acidic (pH 3-4), and suitable for neutral or alkaline soil. Its phosphorus element is easily absorbed by crops, but is easily fixed by the soil. It needs to be applied intensively and deeply to improve the utilization rate. Calcium sulfate components can improve soil structure and provide sulfur nutrients. This fertilizer has a quick effect and is suitable for use as base fertilizer or top dressing for various crops. However, it should be stored in a moisture-proof manner to prevent a decline in its effectiveness.
