Gum rosin is a natural resin extracted from pine tree sap, known for its eco-friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable properties. This light yellow to transparent solid substance emits a faint pine scent, with a density ranging from 1.07-1.09g/cm³ and a softening point of 70-85ºC. With a acid value of approximately 150-180mg KOH/g, it exhibits excellent solubility in organic solvents like ethanol and acetone but is insoluble in water.
